You will see my efforts to make our community and our world a better place to live. When I think of it, I have been basically following the 4-H pledge I learned as a young boy- “I pledge my Head to clearer thinking my Heart to greater loyalty, my Hands to larger service and my Health to better living for my club, my community and my country.” My pledge to you is that I will not forget my roots after you put me in the North Dakota Senate.

In my battles I have learned two things about politics.  One is that individuals can make a difference and the other is that many people are not listened to when laws are passed. My goal as State Senator will be to listen to and talk for all people in District 13 and beyond.
